Port Tarraco first Mediterranean marina with 6.6Kv onshore power.
Port Tarraco, one of the Mediterranean`s only marinas with 9 meter draft, making it ideal for deep water berthing of superyachts, is upgrading its onshore power system to 6.6 kV. This latest standard in onshore power provides 6,600 volts, which is the system used by new giga yachts. This is backed up with Port Tarraco's existing 1250 amps at 400 volts onshore power, making Port Tarraco now one of the only Mediterranean ports able to offer commercial and merchant marine standard power systems, which are becoming more commonly used on super yachts.
